Live grenade from World War II Found in Tredyffrin Garage

A metal container holding three explosives from the World War II was discovered by Tredyffrin Township police Saturday morning, according to a report from nbcphiladelphia.com.
According to the article, the police notified the Montgomery County Bomb Squad to retrieve ad dispose of the ammunition discovered in an outdoor shed at a home on the 200 block of Eagle Road. The devices included a “pineapple”-style American grenade using during World War II and the Korean War.
The bomb squad disposed of the items at another location, the report says, and that there was no suspicion of planned criminal acts involving the weapons.
