Luxury Living Next To LifeTime Athletic Coming To Tredyffrin
Tredyffrin supervisors approve a zoning change necessary for LifeTime Living multi-family facility next to Life Time Athletic.
TREDYFFRIN, PA — Tredyffrin Township supervisors voted 4-3 Monday night in favor of a zoning amendment that will pave the way for a multi-family residential facility affiliated with LifeTime Athletic on Swedesford Road.
The amendment allows a multi-family facility to be built on land that was zoned for business offices.
The preliminary plan calls for 196 units in a five-story building, with garage parking and use of all of the club’s amenities, including fitness facilities, a swimming pool and a café.

The timeframe for the construction is not yet available.
In 2017, LifeTime opened a $30 million fitness facility with pools, racquetball, basketball courts, Pilates and spinning classes and more.
The luxury club has opened other Life Time Living resorts with the clubs in Green Valley, Nevada and Coral Gables, Fla.
The zoning amendment was required for the project to proceed.
Voting against the amendment were Matt Holt, vice chairman; and supervisors K.S. Bhaskar and Sharon Humble.
Bhaskar questioned if the amendment was the way to go. Holt said he would prefer additional reviews by the residents, and Humble questioned if there would be enough parking.
Supervisors Julie Gosse, chairwoman, and supervisors Mark Freed, David Miller and Murph Wysocki voted for ordinance.
