Mailboxes Destroyed In Devon, Wayne

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- There’s another pattern emerging to crime in Tredyffrin Township over the past week.

Multiple mailboxes have been reported destroyed. One incident occurred in Devon on January 15, and the other in Wayne on January 17.

It’s unclear if the incidents are related, or how, exactly, the mailboxes were destroyed, although in the Devon case, a vehicle was allegedly involved.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

1/15/16 at 1201 hours – Patriot Circle in Devon. The victim reported their mailbox was destroyed by an unknown vehicle. The value is approximately $500.00.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

1/17/16 at 1124 hours – 200 block of Anthony Wayne Drive in Wayne. The homeowner reported their mailbox was damaged by actor(s) unknown. The mailbox is valued at approximately $250.00.
