Main Line Fire Companies Hosting Supply Drive For 1st Responders
Berwyn, Radnor, and Paoli fire companies are collecting foods, supplies, and more to support volunteer and career emergency responders.
BERWYN, PA — The Berwyn, Radnor, and Paoli fire companies are always ready to respond in dire situations, and now you can return the favor.
The three local fire companies are hosting a supply drive to support volunteer personnel and career staff during their shifts at all local fire companies during the outbreak of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
Items (a list of donations needed is below) can be dropped off between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 24 at Tredyffrin/Easttown Middle School, 801 Conestoga Road in Berwyn.

Any surplus of donated supplies or food will be distributed to additional local first responders and law enforcement.
Donated food items must be unopened or individually wrapped. Unsealed or homemade food or baked goods will not be accepted out of safety concerns.

Food items sought for donation are:
- Oatmeal packets
- Breakfast cereals
- Rice
- Pasta
- Rice-A-Roni
- Pasta-Roni
- Instant Potatoes
- Tea bags
- Dried Fruit
- Raisins
- Cookies
- Crackers
- Nuts
- Popcorn
- Chips
- Pretzels
Other items needed are:
- Cleaning supplies
- disinfecting wipes
- bleach
- N95 respirator masks
- Commercial medical masks
- Disposable rubber gloves
- Non-contact thermometers
- Gallon-size and quart-size ziplock bags
- Hand sanitizer
