Main Line Police Department Hosting Naloxone Training Jan. 27

The community training event will shed light on the opioid crisis as well as teach the public how to potentially save a life with Naloxone.

A Main Line police department and Chester County EMT group are looking to keep the public informed as the opioid crisis continues to ravage local communities, states, and the nation. And to do so, they are hosting a Naloxone training event where the public will learn how to help an opioid-overdosing individual by using the overdose-reversing drug.

West Whiteland Township Police will host a community Naloxone training event from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the West Whiteland Township Police Department, 101 Commerce Drive, Exton.

The training will be led by representatives from Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, who will also discuss the current opiate epidemic facing the nation and local communities.
