Man Arrested on Active Warrant In Tredyffrin

A man who was pulled over on 202 in April was wanted for possession and false identification.

Tredyffrin, PA -- A North Wales man wanted on an active warrant for an incident that occurred in Tredyffrin Township has been arrested, police said.

David Gardner Avery, 36, was originally arrested on April 18, according to police.

He was pulled over on Route 202 and gave officials false identification at 2:03 a.m., according to police reports.

He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and related charges.

It's not clear how he was free, but he was then arrested on June 10 by a neighboring department, police said.

He failed to post $10,000 bail and was sent to Chester County prison.

A hearing is pending.
