New Start Times Could Come To Tredyffrin/Easttown Schools

Start times for the 2019-2020 school year will be discussed at a Feb. 14 meeting and the public can weigh in on potential new schedule.

BERWYN, PA — Going into the 2019-2020 academic year, Tredyffrin/Easttown School District schools will likely see different start times.

The district's School Board Education Committee has been discussing start time and floated new start times for all district schools.

These changes will be discussed at 7 p.m. on Feb. 14 in the Tredyffrin/Easttown Administration Offices. The public can participate in a comment period at the meeting.

Parents, students, and staff members can give feedback on school start times by emailing starttimes@tesd.net.

Below are proposed start times for district schools:

High School

  • 7:50 a.m. start
  • 2:50 p.m. dismissal

Middle Schools

  • 8:27 a.m. start
  • 3:10 p.m. dismissal

Elementary Schools

  • 9:10 a.m. start
  • 3:45 p.m. dismissal
