New TESD Board Member Appointed Thursday

The Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board on Thursday appointed Henry Zink to the Region II seat. See his qualifications and history here.

TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — The Tredyffrin Easttown School District Board of School Directors Thursday night voted on who will fill a vacant seat on the board.

Board member Robert Singh resigned from the Region II School Director position in December, leaving the seat vacant. Singh defeated Republican challenger Juliet Cordeiro in the November general election to retain his seat.

At Thursday's meeting, the board voted 6-2 to appoint Henry Zink to the seat.

Zink was nominated for the seat alongside Praveen Agarwal.

The two were nominated from a pool of 16 people who were interviewed by the board ahead of the vote.

According to the district, Zink works as a school psychologist intern at Abington School District and as an adjunct faculty member at Lehigh University, Millersville University, and Muhlenberg College

He is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in School Psychology at Lehigh University

Zink holds a Master of Education degree in Human Development from Lehigh University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in theology from Fordham University.
