Newtown Road In Easttown Closing Daily Oct. 26 Through Nov.16
The road will be closed daily for weeks as PECO crews work to install gas mains in the area, PennDOT said.
EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA – Newtown Road in Easttown Township will see weekday closures for several weeks, according to PennDOT.
The road will close between Waterloo and Sugartown roads on weekdays Thursday, Oct. 26 through Thursday, Nov. 16, PennDOT said.
The closures will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to accommodate gas main installation.

During construction, Newtown Road traffic will be detoured over Waterloo, Church, and Sugartown roads, PennDOT said.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area.
