Easttown, PA — A jazz band from New York City will play at the Easttown Library this Friday.
The Daniel Bennett Group will perform from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Daniel Bennett Group was recently voted "Best New Jazz Group" in the New York City Hot House Jazz Awards, the library said.

Daniel has been hailed as one of the most "original and unpredictable musical voices of his generation," according to a news release on the event from the library.
The band has released six albums including Clockhead Goes to Camp, and The Mystery At Clown Castle.

The event is free of cost.
The Easttown Library is located at 720 First Ave in Berwyn.
