One Rescued In Flood Saturday: Berwyn Fire Co.

The fire company said flash flooding left one person stranded over the weekend. Luckily the person was safely rescued from the flood waters.

TREDYFFRIN, PA – One person was rescued from a flooded area over the weekend in Tredyffrin Township, according to the Berwyn Fire Company.

The fire company said it was called to the area of Glenhardie and Richards road Saturday, June 24 at about 6:44 a.m. for a water rescue and had to employ the aid of the Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Company and the Jefferson Fire Company.

While on scene, a three-person rescue team entered the water to rescue the person from the flooded area of Trout Creek at about 7:10 a.m., the fire company said.

The fire company said no one was injured in the rescue.
