Overnight Lane Closures Impacting Roads In Tredyffrin Township Area

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Overnight lane closures are impacting traffic on two roads in Tredyffrin Township for the next few days, according to PennDOT.

Overhead bridge work is scheduled on U.S. 422 and North Gulph Road in Tredyffrin and Upper Merion townships under the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission’s project to widen and improve the Turnpike and its bridges between mileposts 324-326.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Now through Saturday, Feb. 24, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound U.S 422 between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202.
  • Now through Saturday, Feb. 24, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on westbound U.S 422 between U.S. 202 and 1st Avenue.

Additionally, a single lane closure will remain in place on N. Gulph Road in both directions between 1st Avenue and U.S. 202 until 6 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24.

Traffic paces will also be scheduled each night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
