PA Governor Candidate Coming To Wilson Farm Park Sunday

Republican Laura Ellsworth will stop in Wayne Sunday as she campaigns to be Pennsylvania's next governor, and its first female governor.

WAYNE, PA – A Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate is coming to Wayne this weekend as she campaigns to become the state's next governor.

Laura Ellsworth will stop by Wilson Farm Park's Tot Lot at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 6.

Ellsworth, a Republican, is making rounds to encourage Pennsylvanians to vote for her in the upcoming May 15 primary and ideally the Nov. 6 general election should she secure the party's nomination.

She hopes to become the state's first female governor.

On the issues, Ellsworth opposes the controversial "sanctuary" practices in cities such as Philadelphia, vows to fight the ongoing opioid epidemic, and aims to bolster the state's infrastructure and transportation to maximize PA's economic potential, among other issues.
