Paoli Fire Company February incidents.

February has become a very busy month for the Paoli Fire Company.  With the recent wintry weather, the Paoli Fire Company has been in service with several house fires in the area.  The Paoli Fire Company has also extinguished several vehicle fires.  

On February 5th, a significant icing event took place over the entire area.  The Paoli Fire Company responded to numerous calls related to down trees and down wires.  On that day, a fire broke out on Rabbit Run Road in Willistown Township.  Paoli Fire Company along with other surrounding fire departments from Berwyn, Malvern, East Whiteland, Radnor, Lionville, Newtown Square Fire Company operated on the fire.  http://www.paolifirecompany.org/history.html?view=1&id=157667

On February 6th, the Paoli Fire Company responded to a chimney fire located on Sugartown Road in Easttown Township.  While units were responding, Easttown Police arrived on location and reported a chimney fire that had extended to residence.  Surrounding agencies from Berwyn, Newtown Square, and Malvern also assisted on this fire.

On Wednesday February 12th, Paoli Fire Company responded to Rt 202 southbound in the area of Cedar Hollow Road for a pickup truck fire.  Crew's arrived on location and found a fully involved pickup truck.  Engine 3-5 operated and extinguished the fire quickly.

On Wednesday February 26th, Paoli Fire Company responded to another car fire located on Twin Brook Road in the area of Rt 252 (Darby-Paoli Road). Crew's arrived on location and found an engine compartment fire on a sedan. Crew's made quick work of the fire.
