Paoli Station Accessibility Improvement Project Completed

Officials will celebrate the two-year, $48 million initiative's completion Monday.

PAOLI, PA — The Paoli Station Accessibility Improvement project at the Paoli SEPTA/Amtrak station is almost done.

Officials on Monday, Sept. 23 will hold a ribbon cutting to mark the project's completion.

The project was a $48 million initiative to improve accessibility, safety and provide operational flexibility at the Paoli Train Station.

The project involved a series of upgrades aimed at making the station fully accessible for all customers.

Improvements include a new center high level platform, new elevators and ramps, a pedestrian overpass, parking lot enhancements, ADA improvements to the existing station building and changes to infrastructure that allowed for construction of the new center high level platform.
