PECO Launches Project to Provide Natural Gas in Tredyffrin Neighborhood

Natural gas is coming to a Tredyffrin neighborhood that has never had access.

TREDYFFRIN, PA — PECO broke ground on a project in Tredyffrin Tuesday that will bring natural gas to 160 residents that do not currently have gas available, according to a press release.

The project is part of the expanded PECO Smart Natural Gas Conversion program, which makes switching to natural gas service more affordable.

“We continue to find new and innovative ways to provide safe and reliable energy solutions to our customers, and expanding natural gas service is part of those efforts,” said Ron Bradley, PECO vice president of Gas Operations. “This project is a positive result of our natural gas expansion initiatives, which help more customers take advantage of the low price of natural gas.”
