Philly Man Attacks Person At Berwyn SEPTA Bus Stop Monday: Police

The victim was waiting for a bus when a man attacked him. After the attack, the suspect got on a SEPTA bus and rode off, police said.

BERWYN, PA – A Philadelphia man is facing charges after he allegedly attacked a person at a SEPTA stop in Berwyn, then got on the bus, leaving the victim on the roadside, police said.

According to Tredyffrin Township Police, Kaheil Salim Fleming, 22, of Philadelphia has been charged in connection with the Monday, Oct. 2 attack in Berwyn.

Fleming is facing simple assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment by physical contact charges that stem from the incident, court records show.

Police said the attack happened at the Swedesford and Valley Forge road SEPTA bus stop.

Police said the victim was attacked by a man, later identified as Fleming, while waiting for a bus.

After attacking the victim, Fleming and two others got on the bus, leaving the injured victim at the roadside, police said.

Shortly thereafter, police located the bus and Fleming, who was taken into custody, police said.

Fleming is behind bars in the Chester County Jail on 10 percent of $20,000 bail, court records show.

He is slated to appear for his preliminary hearing on Oct. 13, according to court documents.
