Police Log: Tredyffrin Township Police September Arrests

TREDYFFRIN, PA —Eleven suspects were arrested in September for drunken driving and/or driving under the influence of illegal drugs in Tredyffrin Township.

The legal limit to operate a motor vehicle in the Commonwealth is .08%.

Individuals who refuse a test may be subjected to a license suspension of 12 months, which runs consecutively with any other suspensions.

The suspension will be 18 months if the driver has a prior refusal suspension, a prior DUI conviction, or any similar prior offense.

• Caitlyn DeFrank, 31 of Downingtown: DUI Drugs: positive for Lorazepam, Tramadol, and Fentanyl after a motor vehicle crash.
• Denzel Brown, 29 of Philadelphia: DUI Drugs: Positive for THC.
• Jasmine Pena, 23 of Coatesville: DUI Drugs: Positive for THC.

• Alexander Matese, 24 of Astoria, N.Y.: DUI combination of drugs and alcohol: BAC of .091% and THC Adan
• Velazquez-Hernandez, 36 of Malvern, : BAC of .135%
• Megan Giles, 37 of West Chester: BAC of .229%
• Anita Nasimiyu Wasilwa, 28 of Phoenixville: BAC of .185%
• Crystal Jones, 36 of Malvern: BAC of .101% after a motor vehicle crash.
• Tracy McGinnis, 28 of West Chester: BAC of .214%
• Cristin Mowrer, 40 of West Chester: BAC: .176%
• Abralem Howard, 46 of Philadelphia: BAC of .087%

Arrests:

• Dashawn Caulder, 27 of Reading is free on $10,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and other charges in connection with a domestic disturbance in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township.
• Lauren Girafalco, 32 of Wayne is free on $25,000 bail awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person in connection with a domestic disturbance in the Berwyn section of Tredyffrin Township.
• Michael DiRocco, 27 of Downingtown, is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of speeding and operating a vehicle with an Interlock system that detects if a driver is intoxicated.
• Montrell Groves, 28 of Philadelphia, is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of eluding police, recklessly endangering another person and other related charges after Groves refused to stop, on two consecutive days, for a Tredyffrin Township police officer, who attempted to stop him for speeding and a suspended registration.
• Olen Weaver, 55, of Wayne, is awaiting a preliminary hearing on a charge of terroristic Threats stemming from a domestic dispute in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township.
• Bard Brewer, 59 of Phoenixville, is awaiting a preliminary hearing on charges of intending to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication device and related charges.
