Police Looking For Woman Who Stole $800 Vacuum From Retailer
A woman dropped her purse as she left Bed, Bath and Beyond through a rear door with a stolen vacuum and hopped into a U-Haul, police said.
EXTON, PA — A woman left Bed, Bath, and Beyond in Exton through a back door, and with a stolen $799 Dyson Stick vacuum in tow, according to West Whiteland Township Police.
The Department is investigating the theft of the vacuum on Aug. 8 from the Exton retail store on Sunday around 2:15 p.m.
Police said a suspect left the store through a rear door with the vacuum in her possession. She got into the passenger side door of a white U-Haul truck with an Arizona plate, AK05433, a police report said. The vehicle then drove off.

Police said the suspect dropped a purse in the store during the theft. The purse contained personal information for three persons.

West Whiteland Township Police also reported a hit and run incident at the Exton Square mall around 10:15 a.m. Monday. Police said an unknown vehicle, and its driver, struck a sign at the mall.
"In addition to the cost of the repair, is the concern for the driver operating the vehicle," Police said. Anyone with information may call 610-363-0200.
