Police: Man Paid For 4 Plants at Acme, Took 17

The man was captured on surveillance video stealing the plants, police said.

Tredyffrin Township Police said a man faces theft charges after he was spotted stealing on a surveillance video.

The man, Jonathan Schoenfeld, 29, of West Chester, paid for four plants around 10 a.m. Sept. 6 at the Acme in Paoli. But he loaded a total of 17 plants into his car, police said.

The value of the additional 13 plants was $82.68, police said.
