Possession, Theft, Scam Among Newest Tredyffrin Police Update
Chesterbrook resident reports getting scammed on Craigslist, police said.

Tredyffrin Township Police released its most recent crime update Wednesday.
According to police, the following are cases and incidents that occurred between Sept. 28 and Oct. 4:
- Theft: Wednesday Sept. 28, at about 10:12 a.m., over $4,500 worth of construction equipment was stolen from a locked trailer on Glenn Avenue in Paoli. Police are investigating the case.
- Craigslist scam: Thursday, Sept. 29, a victim reported sending $700 for a weekend house rental advertised on Craigslist and did not have any more communication with the alleged owner. The victim reported the scam to police, who are investigating the case.
- Public drunkenness: Friday, Sept. 30, at about 4:51 p.m., a 51 year old male from Wayne was
charged with public drunkenness after officers observed him to be heavily intoxicated at the Black Powder Tavern in Wayne. - Possession: Sunday, Oct. 2, at about 6:24 p.m., Craig Martin, 64, of Marcus Hook, Pa. was charged with possession of a controlled substance; possession of a small amount of marijuana, and five counts of possession of paraphernalia during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 30 in Paoli. Court records show Martin is slated to appear before Magisterial District Judge Analisa Sondergaard on Nov. 11 for his preliminary hearing.
- Possession: Monday, Oct. 3, at about 4:16 p.m., Thomas Rogers, 59, of Drexel Hill, was
charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and two county of possession of paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Swedesford Road in Berwyn. Court records show Rogers is slated to appear before Sondergaard on Nov. 11 for his preliminary hearing. - Possession: Tuesday, Oct. 4, at about 11:42 a.m., Kevin Mills, 18, of West Chester, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia after police detected an odor of marijuana in the vehicle during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 202.
- Criminal mischief: Monday, Oct. 4, at about 2:53 p.m., a victim reported their car window was smashed out during the nighttime but nothing was taken from the vehicle. This incident occurred on the 600 block of Kromer Avenue in Berwyn.
- Blood alcohol test results: Teivy Regalado, 36, of Downington, was charged with DUI on Aug. 11 and police are now reporting his blood alcohol content was .124 percent at the time of his arrest. Court records show Regalado is slated to appear before Sondergaard on Oct. 21 for his preliminary hearing.
