Public Hearing On Devon Yard Being Held March 22: Easttown Township

Anthropologie Inc. is seeking conditional use for the property and the public can weigh in at the meeting.

The Board of Supervisors of Easttown Township is holding a hearing to consider the conditional use application of Anthropologie, Inc. next week and the public is able to attend and make comment on the proposed project.

The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. on March 22 at the Hilltop House located 570 Beaumont Road, Devon.

Anthropologie Inc. is seeking conditional use approval pursuant to Section 455-33.1.B(1)(a) of the Easttown Township Zoning Ordinance, as amended in Ordinance 427-16, in order to develop the properties located at 138 Lancaster Ave., 19 South Waterloo Road, and 11, 13, 15, 19, 21 and 25 Devon Boulevard. These areas are collectively referred to as the “Property."

The development is as part of a unified development which will contain 49,220 square feet of retail commercial and restaurant buildings with associated parking, the township said.

The Property is located in the PBO and R-3 Districts and the Devon Center Overlay District. A copy of the application may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the costs thereof at the Township’s administrative offices during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
