REMIDNER: Sugartown Road Closured Daily In Easttown

EASTTOWN, PA – The closure of Sugartown Road is continuing, and we here at Patch wanted to make sure drivers in the area are still ware of the lengthy project that is affecting traffic.

Sugartown Road is closing daily between Darby Paoli Road and Waterloo Avenue as Aqua PA installs water mains, PennDOT said.

The road will be closed daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., PennDOT said. Closures were initially set for 9 a..m to 3 p.m., but work hours were extended to prevent the project from going further into the fall months.,

The project was expected to finish in September, PennDOT said.

Drivers will be detoured over Sugartown Road, Darby Paoli Road, Lancaster Avenue, and Waterloo Avenue.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns will occur during construction.
