Route 422 Lane Closing Overnight This Week In Tredyffrin

Bridge railing installation will affect overnight traffic on U.S. Route 422 in Tredyffrin overnight this week, PennDOT said.

TOWNSHIP, PA — Drivers on U.S. Route 422 in Tredyffrin will see lane closures overnight this week, according to PennDOT.

Lane closures will be in both directions between the Trooper Road (Route 363) and U.S. 202 interchanges in Tredyffrin Township, as well as Lower Providence, West Norriton and Upper Merion townships.

Closures will be in place Monday, May 20, through Thursday, May 23, for bridge railing installation, PennDOT said.

The work hours are:

  • 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on westbound U.S. 422; and
  • 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on eastbound U.S. 422.

Drivers should allow additional time for travel in the construction zone because backups and delays will occur.
