Serial Purse Snatchers Arrested in Tredyffrin: Cops

TREDYFFRIN, PA -- Two suspects have been arrested in an alleged purse snatching incident at the Paoli Acme, Tredyffrin Township Police said.

The incident occurred on November 16 at about 3:03 p.m. when a pair of thieves grabbed the victim's bag from her shopping cart and fled the store, police said.

Police said that they were able to identify the thieves and link them to other area purse snatchings after their arrest.

Justin Pope, 33, of Newtown Square, and Tiffany Groves, 23, of Harleysville, were both charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
