Several Berwyn Eateries In Violation Of Health Codes
One location was slapped with 11 violations after a Sept. 19 visit from the Chester County Health Department.

The Chester County Health Department stopped by seven Berywn businesses in September for follow up, opening, and regular unannounced inspections. In doing so, the health department found three dining establishments in violation of various health codes, with one place being in violation of 11 codes.
Below are the businesses that were inspected last month and any violations listed by the health department:
- Alfredo's Italian BYO, follow up inspection on Sept. 29, three violations;
- CVS Pharmacy #6999/Easttown, regular inspection on Sept. 29, no violations;
- La Cabra Brew Pub, opening inspection on Sept. 29, no violations;
- Executive Cafe II, regular inspection on Sept. 22, two violations;
- Subway Unit 410/Tredyffrin, regular inspection on Sept. 2o, no violations;
- Executive Cafe, regular inspection on Sept. 19, no violations;
- Lotus Inn, regular inspection on Sept. 19, 11 violations and listed as out of compliance.
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Bureau of Food Safety and Laboratory Services calls inspections a "snapshot" of the facility on the day it was inspected and is not necessarily indicative of the facility's overall cleanliness. Violations are recorded during inspections but are often corrected on site prior to the inspector leaving the establishment, the department's website says.
