Singer-Songwriter Performing Americana, Roots Rock Tunes At Tredyffrin Library Next Week
Marc Berger, who left a law career path for rock and roll, has opened for Bob Dylan in his time as roots rock singer-songwriter.
The Tredyffrin Public Library will host a performance by a singer-songwriter who is touring on a new album centered on the American west and Americana roots next week for free.
At 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, Marc Berger will come to the library where he will perform songs from his newest album, "Ride."
Berger didn't expect to have a career as a musician, but after selling his first song while in law school, he began performing in bands around New York City, playing at CBGB's, Wetlands, and The Knitting Factory.

Berger has even opened for Bob Dylan and played SXSW during his lengthy rock and roll career.
At 21 years old, Berger found inspiration in the vastness and open spaces of the American west, which led to his western influenced American roots songs and his love of exploring the mountains and deserts far from his native Brooklyn.
