Speeding Stop On 202 In Tredyffrin Yields Heroin And Cocaine Bust: Cops

A car that was driving erratically on Route 202 was transporting heroin and crack cocaine, police say.

Tredyffrin, PA -- Police arrested two men on Route 202 in Tredyffrin for possession of crack cocaine after pulling them over for erratic driving behavior.

The incident occurred on May 20 at 7:22 p.m., police said. 

The vehicle was speeding and making abrupt lane changes, according to authorities.

When police approached the vehicle, they detected an odor of marijuana, and saw drug paraphernalia, heroin, and crack cocaine in the car.

The driver, Jose Enrique Gonzalez, 45, of Lancaster, was found to be in possession of a large amount of U.S currency, drug paraphernalia and suspected heroin, police said. He received a litany of charges including possession, fleeing police, and unlawful activities. He was taken to Chester County Prison.

The passenger, Jose Sanchez, 39, also of Lancaster, was charged with possession and released, police said.
