'Spookfest' Halloween Festival Coming To Berwyn

BERWYN, PA — The Berwyn Farmers Market will get into the Halloween spirit later this month with a special Spookfest celebration featuring trick-or-treating, a costume contest, games and more.

The family-friendly event will take place Sunday, Oct. 25, with a morning of Halloween-themed activities for visitors of all ages.

Activities will include a costume contest, trick-or-treating throughout the market, a raffle basket giveaway, and Halloween arts and crafts hosted by Bright Day Studio — an art and play studio in Paoli.

Visitors can also enjoy games and other surprises, while market vendors will offer Halloween-themed treats and seasonal products.

Laine's Gluten Free Bakery will return to the market for a special pop-up. The bakery will also offer pottery created by a market customer, Kelly, with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting charity.

Costumes are encouraged, and children and families are welcome to participate in the festivities.

Market organizers said additional details about Spookfest will be announced as the event approaches.

The Berwyn Farmers Market takes place each Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon at 511 Old Lancaster Road.
