'Stoga Showcase of Sound Cavalcade of Bands is Saturday

More than 18 area bands will be competing, organizers said.

If you love marching bands, please come to the fifth annual ’Stoga Showcase of Sound Cavalcade of Marching Bands on November 1st from 4 - 10 p.m.

Over 18 area bands will be competing. Opening with the National Anthem sung by Conestoga’s premier choral ensemble, Camerota, the cavalcade features a wide array of fantastic productions and will end with the Conestoga Marching Pioneers performing their show set to the music of Queen. The cavalcade is a wonderful way for bands to share their hard work with their peers and also to compete for ranking in their performance category.

Tickets are $10 dollars and are available at the gate or online at www.StogaMusic.com. Refreshments including hot chocolate, pizza, cheeseburgers, walking tacos and more are available along with candy grams for your favorite band members. It’s a perfect way to spend a fall Saturday!
