Sugartown Road Closing Daily For Months In Easttown
The work will begin next week and last until early October and a detour will be in place.
EASTTOWN, PA – PennDOT announced a months-long project that will affect traffic in Easttown Township.
Beginning July 5 and ending Oct. 5, Sugartown Road will be closed between Darby Paoli Road and Waterloo Avenue as Aqua PA installs water mains, PennDOT said.
The road will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., PennDOT said.

Drivers will be detoured over Sugartown Road, Darby Paoli Road, Lancaster Avenue, and Waterloo Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone, PennDOT said.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns will occur during construction.
