T/E Sharks Finish Spring Basketball Season With 14-7 Record

6th grade boys AAU team played in six tournaments March-June

Tredyffrin-Easttown -- The T/E Sharks AAU Basketball Club's 6th grade boys team completed its 2017 Spring season this week and finished with an impressive 14-7 overall record.

The team of 11 players competed in the A Division -- the top level of play -- and participated in six tournaments in the Philadelphia region. It won the EC3 Tournament at Competitive Edge Sports in King of Prussia and went to the finals in two tournaments. The team also went to the semi-finals in two tournaments and just missed the semi-finals in the remaining two due a small margin in point differential.

The T/E Sharks played an intense schedule. It had weekly practices and competed in 21 games against teams from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland between March 25 and June 11.

The team will take a break for the remainder of June and all of July and resume its basketball training program and competitive schedule in late August. It will play in several tournaments starting in September, as well as an AAU basketball league, to help ensure the boys are playing at their full potential for the start of the 2017-2018 regular basketball season.

The T/E Sharks AAU Basketball Club was formed in 2016 to give rising star basketball players in the Tredyffrin-Easttown townships the opportunity to compete at their highest level and teach them the game of basketball, with an emphasis on the fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while also having fun and enjoying the sport.
