T/E Sharks Win EC3 Kickoff Basketball Tournament

King of Prussia, PA -- The T/E Sharks AAU Basketball Club's 6th grade boys travel team won the EC3 Kickoff Tournament at the Competitive Edge sports complex in King of Prussia this past weekend, March 25-26. The team of 11 players went undefeated in the tournament, winning four games over two days against teams from the Philadelphia region and Delaware. The T/E Sharks AAU Basketball Club was formed in 2016 and currently consists of one team of 6th grade boys basketball players who reside in the Tredyffrin and Easttown townships. The club's mission is to give rising star basketball players the opportunity to compete at the highest level in their grade and teach them the game of basketball with a focus on the fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while also having fun and enjoying the sport.

The T/E Sharks are currently playing in the Spring season and are scheduled to compete in six AAU tournaments between March and June 2017. During the summer months, the team takes a break to allow the players to recuperate and have family time. It resumes training in September and will compete in several tournaments, as well as participate in an AAU competitive league in the fall.
