TE School District Victim of Identity Theft
$43,000 worth of computers were fraudulently purchased on a district account.
The Tredyffrin Easttown School District has been the victim of identity theft, Tredyffrin Township Police said Wednesday.
The district reported to police on Friday, Oct. 31, that 24 Dell computers had been fraudulently purchased using the district’s account with Dell.
The fraudulently purchased computers are valued at $43,000, police said.
