TEMS 7th Grade Lacrosse Team Goes Undefeated
First year coach leads her alma mater to a perfect season.
The girls of the Tredyffrin Easttown Middle School Bulldog 7th grade Lacrosse team wrapped up an undefeated season this week under first year coach Lindsey McMullen, who played as a student at TEMS and Conestoga High School.
TEMS Athletic Director Jacquelyn Hickey says the team is made up of girls with a range of experience levels from beginners to many who play with local club teams. "At Middle School we promote sportsmanship and fundamentals" in preparing athletes to play at Conestoga, Hickey said. She said "wins and losses are not the main focus (in middle school) but we certainly are proud!"
Proud parents contacted TE Patch about the story and we join them in congratulating the TEMS 7th Grade Lacrosse team on an outstanding season. If you have a story you'd like to share with the world, contact TE Patch Editor Bob Byrne at Bob.Byrne@Patch.com.
