TESD Elementary Schools Ranked Among PA's Best: Study

Where did the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District elementary schools land on Niche.com's latest rankings? Find out here.

TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — School is back in session, and Niche.com recently released its list of the best elementary schools here in Pennsylvania for 2019. And the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District has cause to be proud.

Hillside Elementary School earned the No. 25 ranking from Niche. Beaumont and Valley Forge elementary schools came in at No. 30 and No. 31, respectively.

Devon Elementary School earned a No. 38 rank, while New Eagle got the No. 47 spot.

To arrive at the rankings, Niche said it looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, grade school ratings and the overall quality of the school district.

The methodology for each category of rankings varied with some factors having a higher weight for certain categories over others.
