TESD Middle Schooler Joins PA Team For National Math Contest
A math wiz at Valley Forge Middle School will compete with four other stellar math students from Pennsylvania at a national competition.

WAYNE, PA — A Valley Forge Middle School student will go on to compete with four other Pennsylvania students in a national math competition in May.
Valley Forge Middle School student Ethan Liu will participate in the National MATHCOUNTS Competition May 11 through May 14 in Orlando as a member of the four-student PA team.
Liu will join Vivian Loh from Winchester Thurston School in Pittsbugh; Skyler Le from Radnor Middle School in Radnor; and Thrisha Kalpatthi from Marshall Middle School in Wexford.

Thomas Le, Skyler Le's father, will coach the Pennsylvania team at the national contest.
The MATHCOUNTS Competition Series is a national middle school mathematics program that promotes mathematics achievement through a series of fun and engaging "bee" style contests.
