Theft, Credit-Card Fraud, Theft by Deception: Recent Police Reports

The following information was provided by Tredyffrin Township Police. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt.
- Around 2:45 p.m. Feb. 9 at Antoinette’s Day Spa in Paoli. The victim reported their Kindle, worth $150, was stolen while at the spa.
- Around 4:45 p.m. Feb. 10, a victim reported to police that their Chase Visa credit card was fraudulently used for three online transactions totaling $1649. The case is under investigation.
- Jennifer Englehart, 37, of York has been charged with theft by deception, police said, after it was determined that she was the actor in an advertising scam that occurred in December 2014. Police said Englehart entered into a contractual agreement with a local business that she then defrauded.
