Three-Vehicle Accident Closes Turnpike In Tredyffrin Township: Police
Two people on a motorcycle were airlifted from the scene with severe injuries, State Police say.

A state police vehicle, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, and a pickup truck towing a car were involved in an accident Thursday afternoon on Interstate 76 West in Tredyffrin Township, according to state police.
Police said the westbound lane of the turnpike is completely closed at the Valley Forge interchange as officials are investigating the cause of the crash.
Police said two people on a Harley Davidson motorcycle were severely injured in the crash and that both were airlifted from the scene to separate hospitals.

Police said the driver of the pickup truck was not injured in the crash and that the Pennsylvania State Police marked patrol vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash. Police said the patrol vehicle was unoccupied because the trooper was assisting another trooper on the eastbound lane of the turnpike for an unrelated event.
