Throw Out Old Medications In Easttown and Tredyffrin On Oct. 22

Drug disposal services are the safest and most secure way to get rid of medicine.

You can safely and securely get rid of any medications lying around in cabinets, drawers, and cupboard on Oct. 22, National Prescription Drug Take-Dack Day, in Easttown and Tredyffrin townships.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Easttown Municipal Building at 566 Beaumont Road, Devon will be taking medications to properly dispose of them. Tredyffrin residents can drop off medications at the police department at 1100 Duportail Road, Berywn also from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Drug disposal services destroy medications through incineration, which prevents the medications from entering water systems or falling into the wrong hands, such as children or people who might abuse the medications.
