Time to Register for Kindergarten, TE

If your little one will be starting kindergarten this fall, get ready to register, the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District said.

Rising kindergarteners must turn 5 on or before Sept. 1, 2015, the district said.

Registration will be held from 9:15 to 11:45 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. on

• Jan. 30 and Feb. 2 at New Eagle;
• Feb. 3 and 4 at Beaumont and Hillside; and
• Feb. 5 and 6 at Devon and Valley Forge.

If you’re not sure which elementary school your child will attend, contact the Transportation Department at 610-240-1680.

You’ll need to bring verification of your child’s birth date and two proofs of residency.

“Proof of immunizations are required at registration,” the district said. “Provisions are made for exceptions for certain medical or religious reasons.”

Anyone with questions about the vaccination policy should discuss it with their school principal, the district said.
