Tobacco-Hauling Truck Catches Fire In Chester County: Fire Officials
Firefighters battled a tractor trailer fire Wednesday morning on Route 202 in Tredyffrin Township. No one was hurt, officials said.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A tractor trailer that was hauling tobacco caught fire on Route 202 in Tredyffrin Township Wednesday morning, officials said.
The Berwyn Fire Company was called to Route 202 north at West Valley road at 8:56 a.m. for a tractor trailer fire.
Firefighters first on the scene found the front half of the trailer, which was loaded with tobacco, on fire.

Responders were able to extinguish the fire before it reached more of the trailer's contents, the fire company said.
Tredyffrin Township Police Department provided traffic control during the morning commute.

All emergency units cleared the scene by 10:30 a.m., and on injuries were reported, according to the fire company.
