Trapped Construction Worker Rescued In Devon: Berwyn Fire Co
The worker was taken to Paoli Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, according to the Berwyn Fire Company.
DEVON, PA — A construction worker was hurt when roof trusses fell on him Thursday morning in Devon, according to the Berwyn Fire Company.
Crews were called to a home on the 900 block of North Valley Forge Road in Devon for a residential rescue and found a worker free from the trusses.
However, the fire company said the worker still needed to be rescued from wooden support beams to the second floor.

Others who were working at the site aided responders by putting sheets of plywood down on the muddy ground to create a path from the home to the awaiting ambulance.
The worker was seriously injured, the fire company said, and was taken to Paoli Hospital.

According to the fire company the scene was clear before 10 a.m.
