Trash Old Medications At Tredyffrin Police Department Oct. 28

Police in the township are joining the National Drug Take Back Day effort on Oct. 28 to prevent drugs from falling into the wrong hands.

BERWYN, PA – Old and unused medications can be very dangerous if they land in the wrong hands.

Thankfully, the Tredyffrin Township Police Department is on board with the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day effort on Oct. 28.

The department's Community Policing Unit will be on hand to collect unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications for safe disposal in the lobby of the township administration building at 1100 Duportail Road, Berwyn.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications.

If you can't make it to the township building on Oct. 28, a safe and secure drug collection box is located in the police department lobby that's available to the public during regular business hours.
