Tredyffrin Crime Blotter: Counterfeit Bills, Car Break Ins, More
Police arrested two Philadelphia men after they allegedly used a counterfeit $100 bill at a Gateway Shopping Center store.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — The newest Tredyffrin Township Police crime blotter is out, and we have the details below.
Incidents featured in the blotter occurred between Sept. 22 and Oct. 1.
The blotter also includes DUI charges filed in that time frame.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE
Sept. 22, Field of Dreams Park, Howellville Road in Berwyn — The victim’s car window was smashed out and three designer bags were stolen from inside.
THEFT
Sept. 24, Hibachi Restaurant on West Swedesford Road in Berwyn — A security camera was stolen from the outside of the building. The case is under investigation.

THEFT FROM VEHICLES
Sept. 24, Main Line Sports Center, W. Swedesford Road in Berwyn — Four victims reported their vehicles’ windows were smashed and purses with contents were stolen from the inside. The case is under investigation.
COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY ARREST
Sept. 27, Five Below Store in Gateway Shopping Center — Police responded to the report of a male who passed a counterfeit $100 bill, which was also attempted at Joann Fabrics. Officers successfully apprehended the male – Jahlil Williams, 20, of Philadelphia, and subsequently charged him with the following crimes: Forgery; Possession of an Instrument of Crime; and Theft by Deception. The passenger, Tamir Washington, 18, of Philadelphia, was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana.
THEFTS FROM VEHICLES
Oct. 29, Great Scott Farm, Yellow Springs Road in Malvern — Two vehicles had their windows smashed and designer purses and wallets stolen from inside. The case is under investigation. Police remind residents not to leave any valuables in their vehicles, locked or otherwise – even for a brief period of time.
BIKE THEFT
Sept. 30, 400 block of School House Lane in Wayne — The victim reported their bicycle stolen from their property. The bike is valued at $3200.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
Oct. 1, 100 block of Lisa Drive in Paoli — A 61-year-old male from Paoli was charged with Public Drunkenness after he was observed to be visibly intoxicated.
THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WERE ARRESTED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE. THE LAB RESULTS AND/OR CHEMICAL BREATH TESTING HAVE BEEN OFFICIALLY VERIFIED AND DETERMINED TO BE UNFIT TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE SAFELY ON THE ROADWAY.
- Paul Bacci, 64, of Devon - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .274 percent
- Andrea Kiotis, 31, of Thornton, PA - BAC was .129 percent
