TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Tredyffrin Township released their most recent crime blotter Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The blotter covers incidents that occurred between Aug. 23 and Sept. 11.

It also contains DUI charges filed.

RETAIL THEFT
Aug. 23, Rite Aid store in Strafford — Two males were observed on surveillance video stealing packs of cigars from behind the counter and fleeing from the store. The case is under investigation.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
Aug. 23, 600 block of Chesterbrook Boulevard — A 60-year-old male from Devon was charged with Public Drunkenness after officers observed him partially laying in the roadway and visibly intoxicated when contacted.

THEFTS FROM VEHICLES
Aug. 25, Drummers Lane in Wayne — Several vehicles had their windows smashed and items stolen from inside which included cash, gift cards and prescription medicine. Police remind residents not to leave anything of value in their vehicles when left unattended. The case is under investigation.

RETAIL THEFT
Aug. 30, Five Below in Gateway Shopping Center — Store employees reported an unidentified female exited the store with several articles of clothing without paying for them. The clothing was valued at approximately $50.

PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS
Aug. 31, Paoli Acme — A 61-year-old male from Berwyn was charged with Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct and Harassment after he caused a disturbance by continuing to yell and repeat racial comments to an employee in the store and was visibly intoxicated when police contacted him.

UNDERAGE DRINKING
Aug. 31, 900 block of Upper Gulph Road — During a traffic stop, police charged four individuals with Underage Drinking – a 20-year-old male from Wayne, Pennsylvania; a 19-year-old female from Swedesboro, New Jersey; a 20-year-old female from Woodlyn, Pennsylvania and a 20-year-old male from Marlton, New Jersey.

FLEEING FROM POLICE
Sept. 1, Route 202 — Norberto Medina, 30, of York, Pennsylvania was charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police after officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop for traveling at high speeds, but he did not stop.

RETAIL THEFT
Sept. 9, CVS store in Strafford — The store manager reported that after reviewing surveillance video, he discovered the theft of hair care products and supplements by an unknown male who concealed the items in his shirt. The case is under investigation.

RETAIL THEFT
Sept. 9, Acme store in Strafford — The store’s loss prevention reported that after reviewing surveillance video, approximately $266 worth of merchandise was stolen by three subjects. The case is under
Investigation.

STALKING
Sept. 11, 300 block of Paoli Woods — William Lynch, 61, of Paoli, PA was charged with Stalking, Disorderly Conduct and Harassment after he continued to contact the victim after he was directed not to.

The following individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. The lab results and/or chemical breath testing have been officially verified and determined to be unfit to operate a motor vehicle safely on the roadway.

  • Janet Glovach, 54, of Collegeville - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) was .192 percent
  • Joseph Mitchell-Brown, 28, of Bridgeport– Marijuana was present in his system.
  • Katelyn Uhl, 29, of King of Prussia– BAC was .264 percent. Amphetamine & Zolpidem were also present in her system.
  • Eric Umlauf, 49, of Havertown– BAC was .247 percent and Marijuana was present in his system.
