Tredyffrin Doc Assaulted Patient In Delco, Allegedly
Authorities said they have reason to believe other victims may be out there. If so, they are urged to call the Delaware County authorities.

An ears, nose, and throat doctor from Tredyffrin Township who operates offices in Delaware County is facing charges after being accused of touching a patient's breast and genital area during a visit to his office. The doctor has since posted bail and is awaiting his preliminary hearing.
Mahmoud Max Ghaderi, 54, of Tredyffrin, has been charged with felony aggravated indecent assault without consent and misdemeanor indecent assault without consent of others, court documents show.
Ghaderi was released after posting 10 percent of $100,000 bail Monday and is set to appear for his preliminary hearing on May 4, according to court records.

Ghaderi allegedly assaulted the patient in April last year in his Springfield office, the Delaware County Daily Times reports.
A police affidavit obtained by the outlet said Ghaderi, despite not being an obstetrician-gynecologist, performed breast exams on a patient seeking help with ear pain. He then allegedly put his hand down her pants and felt around her thighs and vagina, the outlet reports.

Ghaderi's attorney reportedly said since he is presumed innocent, he can continue to work from his Springfield and Darby offices, according to the outlet.
Investigators sent an undercover detective to Ghaderi's office to glean more information about the visit in question, and sent a detective not undercover to question Ghaderi more about the visit. Experts later said Ghaderi's actions were not medically necessary, according to the Times.
"There are no criminal allegations in his past," Delaware County Deputy District Attorney Michael Galantino said Monday afternoon, according to the Times. "But we have reason to believe there may be other victims out there and we are asking anyone who has any information to contact us."
Anyone who may have been assaulted in this manner is urged to call the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division at (610) 891-4700.
