Tredyffrin, Easttown Libaries Hosting Science In The Summer
Space is limited and registration opens at noon Tuesday, May 2.

BERWYN, PA – The popular kids classes Science in the Summer are back for 2017 and Chester County kids can sign up for the July classes Tuesday, May 2 at noon. The Easttown Library and Information Center and the Tredyffrin Public Library will host the program in July.
This year's focus will be Science of Sports with experts from the Franklin Institute administering the classes.
"Behind every professional basketball player, gymnast, swimmer, and sprinter is a team of scientists who help
athletes excel in their sport, from trainers, nutritionists and physical therapists to statisticians and equipment engineers," the program description reads.

Kids will learn about all kinds of topics through sports, including physics with bouncing balls and chemistry with creating sports drinks recipes.
The event description says participants will be around food with one activity. Those foods are coconut water, lime and lemon juice, and honey. Parents should inform program teachers of their child's food allergies.

Each class will be small, about 16 students each, so registering early is a great idea.
The classes are built out into two levels, on for kids entering second and third grades, with the other for kids entering fourth through sixth grades.
The Tredyffrin Public Library will host the program July 24 through July 27.
The Easttown Library will host the program July 17 through July 20.
At both libraries, level 1 will be held between 9:45 a.m. and 10:45 AM or 12:45 p.m. and 1:45 p.m., while level 2 will be held between 11 a.m.and noon or 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
To register, visit the program's map and click on your library then follow the instructions. Remember, registration opens a noon Tuesday, May 2, so you won't be able to register before then.
