Tredyffrin/Easttown Schools Closed Through March 26
The district said all schools and a school related activities are suspended until at least Thursday, March 26.

BERWYN, PA — The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District said it will be closed through Thursday, March 26 due to the local outbreak of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19.
The district announced the closure Thursday night.
All schools and school-related activities are suspended.

According to the district, the closure will be at least through Thursday, March 26, meaning the closure could extend past that date.

Families are able to collect items from their children's schools Friday as the closure begins, according to the district.
Gov. Tom Wolf Thursday ordered all schools closed in Montgomery County, which is the epicenter of Pennsylvania's coronavirus outbreak with 13 cases there.
"As you know, the communities of Montgomery County border the T/E School District," Superintendent Robert Gusick said in a letter to the community Thursday. "Approximately 25 percent of our teaching staff, in addition to many members of our support staff, reside in Montgomery County. To remain in keeping with the spirit of the Governor’s containment action, TESD employees who are residents of Montgomery County should not report to work."
