Tredyffrin, Easttown Township Buildings Get Drug Drop Off Boxes
Area residents can safely dispose of old and unused medications to ensure they don't end up in the wrong hands.

If you live in the Tredyffrin-Easttown area, you now have a resource that will help you keep medications out of the wrong hands, as a local organization has provided both municipalities with drug drop off boxes.
ARCH: Area Residents Caring & Helping, has given both townships drug drop off boxes where residents can safely dispose of unused and old drugs.

ARCH has partnered with the Tredyffrin and Easttown Police Departments to offer continued safe disposal of prescription drugs at both of the township buildings.
The Treydffrin Township building is located at 1100 Duportail Road, Berwyn while the Easttown Township Building is located at 566 Beaumont Road, Devon.

The disposal bins are located in the lobby of each building.
"Returning your unwanted medicines in local, PERMANENT DISPOSAL BINS or via hosted Take Back Days is the safest and most environmentally protective way to dispose of unused medication," ARCH said in a Facebook post announcing the drop off boxes. "Throwing unused medicines in the trash is better than flushing, but it does not adequately protect people and our environment from exposure to potentially dangerous drugs."
